Hey everyone! I made the mistake of going on Missguided the other day and saw their new summer range had been released and I now have a wishlist worth £200 oops. Anyway I thought I'd share a few of my favourite pieces with you guys incase you share the same clothing taste as me! (All items tagged below.)

MASS HAUL

Hi everyone! So as I've purchased a lot of random things recently I thought I'd collate them all into a sort of bits and bobs haul just to show you what I've got incase any of you wanted to purchase them while they're still in stock! I made the mistake of going onto the Urban Outfitters website a couple of weeks ago and of course ended up with a massive wishlist, which I sadly had to drastically reduce. For now all I've purchased are the two t-shirts shown above (links to all available items are below!), both of which I absolutely love and feel will be perfect to just throw on with a pair of jeans throughout spring and summer when I can't be bothered to do anything more! I finally bought a pump for my Estee Lauder foundation off Ebay as sadly it didn't come with one, and I couldn't put up with it any longer! Luckily it fits perfectly and it was only around £2 which was fab. I also invested in a Macbook case after owning my Macbook for 2 years. I saw this felt case on Fashioninflux and fell in love with it (I'm really getting into the colour grey recently for some reason).
I also went into Topshop the other day having moved home from Wales I made the most having access to my favourite shops again ofc. I bought a couple of little tops I'd had my eye on for a few weeks, and I also purchased the 'Explorer' eyeshadow which I could not resist it's gorgeous! I popped into Primark as well and bought a lovely basic long grey top (love grey), and some rose gold strapped sandals I think will be perf for during sunbathing in the summer. Finally of course as soon as I saw Missguided were offering a discount on their gym wear I had to buy some more, so I invested in some leggings and a long sleeve top; which I think will be great for exercising outside now it's getting warmer but still isn't vest top weather!

FEBRUARY FAVOURITES

Hello everyone! Thought I would take the opportunity to do my first ever monthly favourites post, woo! Got a few fashion and beauty pieces which have been favourites of mine throughout February. Firstly is my Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine nail polish in the colour Almond. I picked this up at the start of the month as I wanted a sort of grey toned nail polish and I absolutely love it. It's got like a lilac tinge to it and it goes with most of the outfits I'm wearing at the moment, but I feel it will be a lovely colour for the summer as well.

Secondly is my new foundation which is Estee Lauder Double Wear in the shade Shell. I'd been looking for a new liquid foundation for a while and had seen many good reviews on this product so decided to go ahead and treat myself when my student loan came in, as it is quite expensive. However I absolutely love it, its got good coverage and it does last all day which I find quite rare with liquid foundations. Will definitely be repurchasing when this one runs out!

Thirdly is the Estee Lauder sample I got when I purchased the foundation which is Revitalising Supreme Anti-Age Creme. I understand I don't really need to be investing in anti-age products at the moment being the grand old age of 20 but I find this has really been great at moisturising my skin and stopping it being destroyed by the amount of make-up I put on, so I really like it and will be probably be buying a full sized version soon.

My last favourite beauty product of the month is my Urban Decay Naked 1 eye shadow palette. I have wanted a Naked palette for so long, I finally got one for christmas and I love it so much. I never used to wear eye shadow at all ever, but now I wear it nearly everyday! I love the colour combinations you can get with the Naked palette and I will be buying the other Naked palettes as soon as I can!

This isn't a fashion or beauty product however I had to purchase this magazine simply for the article on Rihanna, and I've loved reading it this month. Not only are the images of her ridiculously powerful and gorgeous I love reading about her and have found a few of the other articles really interesting as well. Always fall in love with magazines like this for the photographs alone!

Another non fashion/beauty item is this candle in Coconut and Vanilla which I bought from Matalan for only £3! I love how big it is, so much value for money and it smells amazing! I could genuinely have it lit 24/7 and would not get sick of it.

Finally and my favourite of February overall is my gym wear from Missguided. I went on a massive gym wear shopping spree when Missguided and BooHoo released their activewear ranges (See comparison blog post) and I absolutely love all the pieces I bought. Tend to wear at least one Missguided piece everytime I work out now and it's so easy to exercise in, so comfortable and flattering I love it. Will definitely be investing in more should they continue to release new pieces!

MISSGUIDED ACTIVE VS BOOHOO FIT REVIEW

Before I say anything else I just want to apologise for the atrocious quality of these photos, as I came back to university and forgot the charger for my SLR camera so had to use my iPhone woo! As many of you probably know both Missguided and BooHoo have very recently released women's sportswear ranges. Finally some affordable sportswear! As soon as the websites released their ranges, I purchased from both and I have been a gym regular for many years but particularly since the start of this year (to go more was one of my new years resolutions, which is actually going surprisingly well!). Both ranges are different to the majority of sportswear already available out there; colourful, stylish and primarily aimed at teens and young adults.

Immediately when I looked at the Missguided Active range I loved nearly every piece. Sadly I couldn't afford every piece so I narrowed it down to the pieces shown above. All are comfortable, soft and easy to wear; perfect for a work out. I bought everything in my normal clothing sizes and everything fits exactly right which is great. I wear these looks for the gym, but also for yoga and running and they are great for all three forms of exercise, due to how easy they are to move in. How cheap they were was a massive benefit and I also received 20% student discount at the time of purchase which made it even better! I will definitely be purchasing from this range again in the future should more be released!

As you can see I have only purchased one item from the BooHoo Fit range so far. I saw this jumper featured on another blog post and thought it looked great, however when I looked at the rest of the range; although like the Missguided range it was colourful and aimed at the same age group, not as much appealed to me, however this may change in the future should more pieces be released of course! The jumper I did buy I love, however I am normally a size 8 top, bought the jumper in a size 10 as I wanted it to be somewhat baggy, and it just about fits me. The sleeve length is just to my wrists, so I tend to roll the sleeves up, however due to how much I love it I still wear it, and it is great for pre and post-workouts to just throw on over your top/sports bra.

Presently overall I would definitely say I prefer the Misguided Active range, simply due to personal clothing taste. The sizing was much better for Misguided Active than BooHoo Fit so should I purchase something from the BooHoo range again in the future I'll have to remember to size up. Having said that, both ranges over great sportswear options at affordable prices which is perfect and I am so glad they did! Also as a little end note you may have noticed the black band on my wrist, this is my FitBit and I will be doing a review of this in the near future.

CHRISTMAS CHOIR EVENT

Dress: Missguided / Necklace: Topshop

Hey! Today I went with my mum and nan to see a christmas choir at the symphony hall in Birmingham and it was so good! I decided to dress up quite smartly and I'm glad I did, I would have put a full length photo on here of my outfit but my brother is apparently awful at taking photos so I'm gunna have to sort out my tripod and camera timer for next time. I curled my hair at the ends with just normal straighteners and then put a plait on the one side just because one side never curls as well as the other. I had to take a photo of Birmingham while I was there with the ice rink, ferris wheel and the new library which apparently atm due to a deal made with Aston Villa football club is claret and blue. Anyway that's it for now may be going out tomorrow night so if I am I'll try and take photos of my hair, make up and a full length view of my outfit, love x
